In collaboration with Bridge the Gap, The Kindness Campaign, ShowerUp Chicago, and members of different Adventist churches in the city, Pastor Oscar Güity, Shiloh Church led by Pastor John T Boston II, and Shiloh en Español provided over 250 people living around Shiloh Church with bags of food, clothes, diapers, fresh waters, and free tacos.
In collaboration with Bridge the Gap, The Kindness Campaign, ShowerUp Chicago, and members of different Adventist churches in the city, Pastor Oscar Güity, Shiloh Church led by Pastor John T Boston II, and Shiloh en Español provided over 250 people living around Shiloh Church with bags of food, clothes, diapers, fresh waters, and free tacos. In addition, the Word was preached, moments of worship were shared, prayers were offered for the people, and hope literature was distributed.
Along with Pastor Oscar, Pastors Abdi Del Arca, and Jaffet Toledo also played crucial roles in this endeavor. Marcos Morales, director of Bridge the Gap, did a fundamental job organizing this event.
"Today I go home with food and knowing that God sees my needs," said one of the community members who attended the event.
The event lasted from 2:00 to 5:30 in the afternoon, and in the words of one of the elders of Shiloh Church: "This is one of the most special events our church has ever held."
The church is in the world to bless it, balance the social scale, and remind it that God is not far from them. And that Sabbath, the church was seen doing just that.

“Hoy vimos el rostro de Dios.” Esas fueron las palabras del Pastor Oscar Güity el pasado sábado 13 de Julio al terminar una de las actividades de Servicio más grandes que la Iglesia de Shiloh, y la parte sur de la Ciudad de Chicago, ha visto en los últimos años.
En colaboración con Bridge the Gap, The Kindness Campaign, Shower Up Chicago, y miembros de diferentes adventistas de la ciudad, el Pastor Oscar Güity, la Iglesia de Shiloh liderada por el pastor John Boston, y Shiloh en Español ofrecieron a más de 250 personas que viven alrededor de la Iglesia de Shiloh bolsas con comida, ropa, pañales, aguas frescas y tacos gratis. Además, se predicó la Palabra, se compartieron momentos de adoración, se oró por la gente y se repartió literatura de esperanza.
Junto con el Pastor Oscar, los pastores Abdi del Arca y Jaffet Toledo también desempeñaron un papel fundamental en esta labor. Y Marco Morales, director de Bridge the Gap, hizo un trabajo fundamental en la realización de este evento.

El evento duró desde las 2:00 hasta las 5:30 de la tarde, y en los labios de uno de los ancianos de la Iglesia de Shiloh: “Este es uno de los eventos más especiales que nuestra Iglesia ha realizado.”
