The decision was made during the Aug. 16, 2023, executive committee meeting, where Stacey's dedication, leadership and gifts in ministry were affirmed and celebrated.
DePluzer, who has previously served as assistant to the youth director, has demonstrated exceptional commitment and passion for youth ministry throughout her tenure. Her skills in guiding and nurturing young minds, combined with her unwavering faith, have left an indelible mark on the lives of many within the Seventh-day Adventist community.
"I am truly humbled and honored by this opportunity," said DePluzer. "I am excited to continue serving our youth in this capacity and look forward to helping them develop strong faith foundations, lifelong friendships, and a sense of purpose through camp ministry."
