Indiana Launches New Online Academy, Second in the Lake Union
The new INspire Academy is coming together nicely. Our goal for this new school is to provide you an option for Adventist education from the safety of your home. Already, we have hired two teachers and are getting all of the textbooks and the laptops ready for the first school year. Many students have already registered for the new year, but we still have a few spots available. We plan to have our INspire Academy school orientation meeting at Camp Timber Ridge on August 15, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Indiana State voucher continues to become easier to access for residents of Indiana. Beginning July 1, the voucher will be available to over 90% of Hoosiers. They have raised the income eligibility from 300% in 2023 to over 400% for the new school year. As an example, a family of four who makes $222,000 per year will be eligible for the vouchers.
New principal for Indiana Academy is Dr. Timothy Eric. Dr. Eric has served in our Adventist education system for over 35 years and will bring a wealth of experience and vision to our campus.
